Man with a Van Bristol to Hartlepool
BS5 → TS22 30 Aug 2026Michael needed a full van of boxes and household items moved from storage in Lawrence Hill to Rural West, and Lucian got it loaded in two hours before making the five-hour drive to Middelsbrough. The job came together smoothly enough that Lucian shifted it forward by a couple of days to fit Michael's timeline, the kind of flexibility that keeps a relocating business on track. Michael left a five-star review, noting how responsive Lucian was throughout, staying in touch by phone and message from start to finish.
“Lucian was excellent from the get go. Came straight back to me by phone and whatsapp. Even moved the job a couple of days early to help my client”

Man with a Van Merthyr Tydfil to Newtown
CF48 → LD1 12 Aug 2026An office relocation from Merthyr Tydfil to Llandrindod South presented a logistical puzzle: the pickup site had lift access on the first floor, but the new office was on the second floor with no lift. Tim loaded desks, filing cabinets, meeting tables, and roughly 20 boxes of paperwork into the Transit over 2 hours, then navigated the near-3-hour drive. The trickiest part came at dropoff, getting everything up those stairs without lift assistance. Tim managed it methodically, ensuring the office could hit the ground running in its new location.

Man with a Van Local to Dorchester
DT2 3 Aug 2026Christopher's office move within Dorset involved filing cabinets, a large printer, and various supplies that needed shifting from Puddletown & Lower Winterborne to Chalk Valleys. John loaded everything in two and a half hours, then drove the Transit across to the new location. The job had a wrinkle, Christopher needed items collected from a separate location and delivered to a remote spot, but John stayed patient and in touch throughout. Christopher left a 5-star review, noting John's helpfulness and how he navigated the logistical complexity without fuss.
“He was very helpful, and knowledgable. The job was not simple, as it involved collecting things from a different person and delivering to me at a remote, hard to find location. John remained patient and friendly, and kept in contact as the job progressed.”

More about Business Moves
Local moving help, explained in detail
Small office moves are usually quick jobs. A five-person startup leaving a co-working space for its first proper office. A twelve-person team switching between WeWork buildings. A founder pulling together a home setup and a co-working desk into one place. These are all done inside a day, often a morning.
Most loads fit a large van or a Luton. If the office is on an upper floor with no lift, add a helper to the booking. The move itself tends to go fastest out of hours so the team isn't working around a van in the corridor. Evenings, weekends and overnight moves are all supported through the same booking system. For weekend slots, putting the booking in a week or two ahead opens up the most driver choices.
Most businesses want the move done on a Friday evening or over the weekend. That way the office is operational again by Monday morning and no one loses a working day to it. Some teams go for midweek overnight moves if they need to be back in by 9am the next day.
Out-of-hours bookings use the same pricing model as any job. Driver rate, route time, loading time. Evening and weekend rates vary by driver. Some charge more for unsocial hours, some don't. Either way you see the rate before you commit to anything. If the move needs to happen across a few evenings rather than all at once, book each session separately. Rebooking the same driver each time makes things easier since they already know the job.
Independent retailers moving to a new spot, pop-ups setting up for a short run, boutique stores changing premises. These are regular bookings. The volume is usually a Luton-load: shelving, display units, stock, signage and a counter or two.
Most shop moves are worth splitting across two days. Shelving and fixtures go in first, the fit-out happens, then stock comes in once the unit is actually ready for it. Trying to do it all in one go usually means stock sitting in the middle of the floor while shelving is still going up. Booking the same driver for both visits means the second day goes faster because they already know the job. Loading bays, delivery time windows and pedestrianised high streets all have their own access rules. Note anything like that in the booking and the driver will plan around it.
Business Moves — frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the most common questions about this service
8 FAQsHow much does a business or office move cost?
For small offices up to about 20 desks, rates start from £40/hr for a medium van, £40/hr for a large, and £40/hr for a Luton. Most small office moves come in at a few hundred pounds. The total depends on how long the drive is, how long loading takes and whether you need an out-of-hours slot. For anything bigger than 20 desks, get in touch and the removals team will quote you directly.
Do you cover weekends and out-of-hours office moves?
Yes. Evening, weekend and overnight slots come up regularly. Booking a week or two ahead gives you the most options. Some drivers charge more for out-of-hours work and some don't. You see each driver's rate in the booking system before you decide.
Can you handle IT equipment, monitors and server kit?
Yes — drivers handle computers, monitors, printers, desktop kit and server racks regularly. Anything especially sensitive should be flagged in the booking notes so the right driver is allocated and the loading is planned accordingly.
Can you do a phased move across several days?
Yes. Book separate sessions across different days for phased relocations. Rebooking the same driver across sessions usually means faster confirmations and a smoother handover between visits.
Do you supply crates, packing materials or file boxes?
Boxes, bubble wrap and packing materials can be supplied but need to be requested in advance — they aren't carried in the van by default. Get the materials request in ahead of the move date.
Do you move shops, retail units and pop-ups?
Yes — shop fit-out moves, pop-up shop setups, store relocations and stock runs are all standard jobs. A Luton van is usually the right choice for a full shop load.
When should I use TVMC vs a commercial removals company?
TVMC fits small and medium businesses — up to roughly 20 desks, single-site moves, startup relocations, retail moves. Big commercial removers with project managers, surveys and dedicated corporate accounts are a better fit for 50-desk-plus enterprise moves and HQ relocations.
How does payment work?
20% deposit to secure the booking when you confirm, the remaining balance is settled on completion. Business invoicing is available — flag the requirement in the booking notes.
Business Moves available across the UK
Local drivers covering cities, towns, counties and regions
259 areasBusiness and office move coverage runs through every major UK commercial centre.
London is the busiest area. Drivers cover Central London, the City, Canary Wharf, Shoreditch, King’s Cross, Soho, Mayfair and Victoria. A lot of bookings start or end at co-working buildings. WeWork, Regus, Mindspace, The Office Group and Spaces locations come up constantly as pickup points for startups moving in or out of a desk. The M25 commuter belt is covered too.
Manchester is the next busiest after London. Spinningfields, the Northern Quarter, NOMA, MediaCityUK and Salford Quays all get regular bookings. Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow all have solid commercial coverage too. In Birmingham that’s mainly Colmore Row, the Jewellery Quarter and Digbeth. In Edinburgh it’s New Town, Leith and the Quartermile. Bristol is mainly Temple Quay and the Harbourside.
Business parks and industrial estates are part of the regular job mix, not just city-centre offices. Cambridge Science Park, Thames Valley Park, Cobalt Business Park and MediaCity all come up regularly, alongside the various out-of-town business parks and enterprise zones around every major city.
The range of building types is wide. Co-working spaces, serviced offices, dedicated floors, incubators, accelerators, retail units on high streets and in shopping centres, pop-ups, warehouse conversions and showrooms are all regular job types.
Good driver coverage extends to Cardiff, Newcastle, Liverpool, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Reading, Cambridge, Oxford, Brighton, Southampton and Aberdeen. If the move is between two cities rather than within one, the same route-time pricing applies as any long-distance booking. One driver, door to door.
