Pottington lies on Barnstaple’s western approaches within Barnstaple, a mixed area combining residential streets with nearby employment. Housing includes older properties nearer the town and modern estates further out.
The area’s position provides good road access. The mix of housing types means varied moving requirements, from smaller terraces to family homes.
Local moves frequently connect Pottington with Roundswell, Newport, Bickington, Pilton, and Bradiford. Pottington Road has established housing, while the Whiddon Valley area nearby offers family homes. The industrial estate provides employment for many residents, and the main road connections make moves efficient. Newer developments have added family housing options to the traditional stock.
We cover the whole of Barnstaple and the surrounding area. Here are some other areas we operate in around Barnstaple.
