Our customer needed boxes, suitcases, and some flat-pack furniture moved out of Treforest to Butetown in Cardiff. Obaid collected everything from the pickup in just over an hour, the customer had already dismantled the Ikea pieces and staged everything on the ground floor, which kept things moving. The 35-minute drive across to the dropoff went smoothly, and the lift access there made unloading straightforward.
Our customer needed 10, 20 boxes of personal items moved out of Treforest to self-storage in Trowbridge. Obaid picked everything up in about an hour, then drove the Transit across to the storage facility, just under two hours on the road. The booking came through with some flexibility around timing and access, since the storage was available 24/7, which helped Obaid slot the job in smoothly. Boxes were all ready to go when he arrived.
Local drivers across every neighbourhood
Treforest lies south of Pontypridd town centre, known for the University of South Wales campus that dominates the area. The neighbourhood features Victorian terraces, purpose-built student accommodation, and family homes, creating a mixed community with strong academic connections.
Whether you’re helping students move in or out, relocating from a Victorian terrace, or shifting furniture between family homes, a man and van handles the varied requirements. Our drivers understand the term-time patterns and can manage moves throughout this busy area.
Popular moves connect to Rhydyfelin nearby, Hawthorn eastward, Tonteg to the south, Graigwen above, and Glyntaff along the valley. Broadway connects through the main student area, while the streets around the campus and station see constant activity. University presence makes this one of the busiest areas for moves.
