Man with a Van & House Removals

Ickham is a small village set in the gentle farmland to the east of Canterbury. The village features a mix of historic cottages, Georgian houses, and converted agricultural buildings arranged around the church and village lanes. Properties here appeal to those seeking rural tranquillity within easy reach of the city.

Our drivers assist with moves from village properties where local knowledge matters. Whether you are relocating from a period cottage or need help transporting furniture to a larger rural home, we connect customers with drivers experienced in navigating country lanes and managing access to properties with gravel drives or narrow approaches.

Ickham sits close to Littlebourne and connects to Bridge, Chartham, and Wincheap towards the city. The Street runs through the village centre, while Bramling Road and Well Lane lead to neighbouring hamlets. The village is near Wickhambreaux and the Wingham area, with the Little Stour river flowing through the valley. Properties along The Street and around the church vary from compact cottages to substantial detached houses with generous grounds. Moves from Ickham often involve families seeking more space or retirees downsizing from larger properties. Drivers covering this area understand the weight limits on some bridges and the best routes for larger vehicles serving the rural lanes.

We cover rural Kent and the wider Canterbury district. Here are some other areas we operate in around Canterbury.
