Man with a Van & House Removals

Chilham is one of Kent’s most picturesque villages, located in the Stour valley to the west of Canterbury. The village square is surrounded by half-timbered Tudor houses, while the wider area includes Georgian cottages, Victorian terraces, and modern developments. Properties here attract those seeking character and village community.

Our drivers assist with moves from historic properties where access and loading require experience. Whether you are moving from a cottage near the square or relocating to a larger home on the outskirts, we connect you with drivers who can handle the practicalities of village removals and furniture transport.

Chilham sits along the railway line between Canterbury and Ashford, with moves connecting to Chartham, Harbledown, and villages like Bridge and Littlebourne to the east. The Street leads up from the station to the famous square, while Mountain Street and School Hill connect to surrounding lanes. The village castle and church create a historic centre where parking is limited during busy periods. Properties on The Street and around Dane Lane offer a mix of sizes, from compact cottages to substantial houses. Drivers working in Chilham understand the restrictions around the conservation area and can advise on the best approach for larger vehicles.

We cover rural Kent and the Canterbury area. Here are some other areas we operate in around Canterbury.
