Man with a Van & House Removals

Hoghton sits just south of Blackburn, a picturesque village known for its historic tower and surrounding Lancashire countryside. The area features a mix of stone-built period properties, traditional terraced homes near the village centre, and newer family housing on the village outskirts. Many residents here work in Blackburn or Preston while enjoying the quieter village lifestyle.

Whether you’re moving into a cottage near Hoghton Tower or relocating from a semi-detached house along the main road through the village, our drivers can help with moves of all sizes. From full house relocations to single furniture deliveries and small clearances, there’s a van and driver available to suit your needs. Choosing the right size van is straightforward, and you can compare options easily before booking.

Hoghton connects well to surrounding areas, with moves commonly going between here and nearby suburbs such as Darwen to the south, Feniscowles and Cherry Tree to the north, and Pleasington to the west. The village sits along the A675 Riley Green road, with the junction at Hoghton Bottoms providing links towards the M65 and beyond. Residents moving from properties near Hoghton Tower often need careful handling for period furniture, while those on Chapel Lane or Station Road typically have more modern belongings. The local primary school and Boatyard pub are familiar landmarks, and moves between the village proper and outlying farms along Blackburn Old Road are quite common. Drivers familiar with the narrow lanes around Witton Blackburn and the steeper routes through Lower Darwen understand how to navigate larger vehicles through tighter spaces when required.

We cover moves across the wider Blackburn area and can help with longer distance relocations too. Here are some other areas we operate in around Blackburn.
