Man with a Van & House Removals

Portglenone sits on the western edge of Ballymena‘s coverage area, positioned along the River Bann with the forest park providing an attractive setting for this County Antrim village. The community offers a mix of traditional properties near the monastery, period housing along the main street, and modern family estates that draw residents seeking village life with good road connections.

A man and van is well suited to moves in Portglenone, whether you’re relocating within the village or moving between here and surrounding towns. The village roads accommodate most van sizes, and drivers can usually load close to properties.

Residents moving from Portglenone often consider Broughshane or Cullybackey for similar village settings closer to Ballymena, while those wanting coastal access look toward Glenarm or Carnlough on the Antrim coast. Main Street properties near the church handle regular moves, with drivers familiar with access along the older terraces. Housing at Townhill Road and Forest Park area sees family relocations, while riverside properties near the Bann require careful navigation on narrower lanes. The route toward Ahoghill makes this village well connected for moves across mid-Antrim, and proximity to Maghera and Magherafelt means moves often cross into County Londonderry.

We cover the wider Ballymena region and assist with longer distance moves too. Here are some other areas we operate in around Ballymena.
