Say you’re moving from one side of Bristol to the other. Or from a village in Somerset to a market town 20 miles away. A lot of people think they’ll struggle to find a driver for something that small. They don’t.
TVMC has drivers all over the UK — not just the big cities. London has drivers covering every part of it. Islington, Hackney, Camden, Lambeth, Southwark, Wandsworth, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets. And out past the M25 into Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire too. Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham — all well covered, same-day slots come up pretty often in these areas.
The bit that suprises most people is the coverage outside the cities. Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire — all those towns and villages inbetween have drivers in them. The South West is a good example. Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall all have drivers based there. So a move between two Cotswolds villages, or from one end of Somerset to the other, goes to someone whos already nearby. Not someone who had to drive 45 minutes just to reach you.
Same through the Midlands — Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire. Up North — Lancashire, North Yorkshire, the East Riding, Cumbria, Northumberland. East Anglia covers Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. Scotland runs through Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeenshire, Fife and the Borders. Wales covers Cardiff, Gwent, Pembrokeshire, Powys and the North Wales coast.
All sorts of moves go through this network. Moving across town. Between two villages. Downsizing in the same county. An urgent move that needs doing today. When you put your postcode in, the booking system shows drivers whos actually near you — not whoever happened to have a gap that day.
