Man with a Van, Removals & Clearance

Bower Ashton lies on the western edge of Bristol, where the city meets the countryside of North Somerset. The area features a mix of substantial detached homes, period properties, and newer family houses set among mature gardens and green spaces. Many residents appreciate the semi-rural feel while enjoying proximity to central Bristol and the harbourside.

Whether you’re moving into a family home on Kennel Lodge Road or relocating from a period property to somewhere more central, our drivers handle moves of all sizes. Bower Ashton’s larger properties often require multiple trips or larger vans, and local drivers can advise on the best approach. The area’s tree-lined streets and private driveways are well-suited to careful, unhurried moves.

Residents moving from Bower Ashton often look to nearby areas across west Bristol. The neighbouring area of Bedminster sees regular moves from families seeking more affordable housing closer to the city centre. Moves to Southville are popular given its village atmosphere and independent shops, while Clifton attracts those wanting Bristol’s most prestigious Georgian addresses. For those seeking similar leafy surroundings but closer to amenities, Stoke Bishop provides an appealing alternative with excellent schools and green spaces. The characterful streets of Cotham also draw moves from Bower Ashton residents looking for a more urban lifestyle with Victorian properties and easy access to Gloucester Road. Bower Ashton’s position near the A370 and close to Ashton Court Estate makes it convenient for moves heading towards Long Ashton and beyond. Properties along Kennel Lodge Road and Clanage Road form the heart of the residential area, while homes near the Ashton Park school benefit from excellent local facilities. The Bower Ashton campus of UWE creates some student-related moves, though the area remains predominantly family-oriented.

Our drivers cover the whole of Bristol and surrounding areas, from the harbourside to the Avon Gorge and beyond. Whether your move stays local or takes you further afield, we’re ready to help. Here are some other areas we operate in around Bristol.
