What Is the Hardest Room to Pack When Moving?

The kitchen, by a long way. Plates, glasses, pans, small appliances, half-used cleaning products, opened food, and a junk drawer full of odd bits — it all needs sorting, wrapping, and labelling. Most people underestimate how long it takes and end up packing in a panic the night before. Start the kitchen a week early. Wrap each plate and glass individually, fill mugs with smaller items, use tea towels as padding, and label every box “kitchen — fragile” with a rough idea of what’s inside. Bathrooms and lofts come next for sheer faff. If you’d rather not deal with any of it, our removalist option can include a packing service so the crew handles it.
