Our customer needed a full household move from Honiton St Michael's to Stoke Gifford, with a storage stop on the way. Daniel loaded a 3-seater sofa, armchair, double bed, chest of drawers, washing machine, and around 20 boxes of kitchen kit, bedroom items, and general belongings into the Transit over 5 hours. The driver then made the 1 hour 50 minute journey to drop everything off, completing the job in one clean run.
Local drivers across every neighbourhood
Axminster sits to the west of Somerset, a market town in East Devon near the Dorset border. The area features a mix of Georgian townhouses, Victorian properties, and more modern developments, known historically for its carpet-making tradition.
Whether you need help moving from a period property in the town centre or relocating from one of the newer estates, local man and van drivers can assist with moves of all sizes. From single items of furniture to complete house clearances, finding the right van and driver is straightforward.
Many residents moving within or from Axminster connect with areas across the region. Moves frequently link with Bruton across the county, Castle Cary to the north, Wincanton along the route, Shepton Mallet further on, and Frome in the east. Routes along the A35 and through Chard are familiar to local drivers, while the streets around the Minster, Victoria Place, and the properties near the old carpet factory all feature in moves from this market town.
Drivers covering Axminster regularly handle longer journeys across Devon and Somerset, connecting with Exeter, Yeovil, and towns throughout the South West.
