Yes, in most cases you can ride along in the van with your driver, as long as there’s a passenger seat free. It’s common on shorter moves. You follow the load straight to the new place, point out where things go, and save yourself a separate car journey. On bigger jobs where you’ve booked a second helper, the front seats can fill up, so check with the driver when you confirm. The law allows one person per seat with a seat belt, and if you’re bringing children, the usual child seat rules in Highway Code rule 100 apply in vans too.
